Albert's in Holland

Hotdog and Me received a wonderful email from Albert Barkley today, he's has gone to live in Holland!!

He says -

Since a couple of weeks I'm living in Holland with Tessa.
I really like it here and I've made a couple of friends already:
Little Spotty and Maureen, two bunnies made of socks.
Just like me!
And Mister Jummy.
He looks a bit scary, but he is very friendly!

The otherday when I was sniffing around the house, I found some DVD's that I love!
Tessa has a lot of Poirot DVD's!

A couple of days ago, it began snowing in Schiedam.
So Tessa took me and the bunnies out and let us play in the snow.

I'm going to sniff out how the DVD player works!

Woof,

Albert

Where Have That Pesky Lot Gone?

I was just having a look in my very very messy workroom and discovered that Hotdog, Weeny Woo, Weeny Woo's baby and The Hooterninnie have all disappeared!

Where have THEY gone I thought!!  So off on a merry hunt I went.  I searched the whole house but to no avail.  Finally a lightbulb came on above my head.....I had turned the light on by mistake!! Finally I had a brainwave!  I remember hearing them whispering all last week about how they were fed up being stuck in the house all the time.  Weeny Woo, who has a really happy nature, was bored at being ignored, I heard her moan that I hadn't even introduced her on the blog.

Armed with this new thought I went in search outside.  Eureka!!  I found them, all crammed into the camper van.

They were off on an Adventure they said but didn't get past getting into the van.  They were in the middle of trying to figure out how to reach the steering wheel when I found them.  Weeny Woo had the brilliant idea of all climbing on top of each other to reach it but they hadn't banked on Hotdog's clumsyness!!

They all agreed to come back inside when I told them that before they went anywhere in the van it would need a blinkin good wash.  They all had a look out the window and agreed that it probably was not a good idea to take it out JUST yet.....especially when they noticed all the cobwebs!!

Weeny Woo and baby came all the way over here from Widget and Friends and The Hooterninnie came to us from Oddsox , so if you fancy some cuteness in your life, pop over to their shops.

Ssshhhh, lastly before you go, if you get a spare minute can you go over to Craftjuice and vote for Brian please?  I'm whispering cos Weeny Woo's bunny maker has a skull and crossbones over there as well and she's beating me :)

Pleasey Weasey Vote For Measey!

Hotdog has entered Brian into a Halloween Competition and he needs all the votes he can possibly muster.

If you have a spare few moments would any of you wonderful people be able to go over and give him some votes.  It will do wonders for his self esteem!!

When Dave went missing he really went into himself and even the arrival of Colin and Jefferey, the other SKELLY DOGS, didn't make him join in.  Dave2 came along and went onto his new owner and the original Dave miraculously appeared again (but never told where he had been or what wonders he had seen!) and even these fab events didn't make him happy.

Hotdog believes and I have to agree that getting these votes will show him that people do care about him and maybe he will start to join in again.  So please, vote for Brian and give him that much needed ego boost.  Hotdog and Me and ALL the puppies will be very very grateful.

The Wanderer Returns

Dave's Back!!!

At this moment in time he STILL isn't saying anything so your guess is as good as ours as to where Dave has been over the last 3 weeks!  However, he is safe & well, has had a good meal and is now settleing in with his new human.

To Custom or Not to Custom

I have had a couple of custom orders lately and found this to be quite an inspirational way of crafting.  Firstly it makes you think outside of your comfort zone and then once you have completed the finished project it ends up spawning a million new ideas.  What could be better than that?  Win win as far as I can see.

Here are some piccies of my custom orders, they were really fun to make.

We have Lucky Woofswell, Johnny Rottweiler and Vlad.

Testing a new photo layout.

I am a follower of a wonderful blog called Haptree and Me and the other day I asked a cheeky question. Could she tell me how to make a mini treasury, and she was so nice she said she could.

Below is my mini treasury of Haptree's shop on Folksy. Absolutely gorgeous isn't it, so colourful.

So a big thank you to Haptree for all her help in making my blog look prettier. I am still in the process of doing this so please bear with us.

New Pups on The Block

Well we have a new addition to the family, this time it's a human and not a sock puppy, so we have been a little bit pre-occupied at Hotdog's pad!

However, we have had a few new puppies arrive too so Hotdog wanted to introduce them to the world.

From left to right we have Colin, Deirdre Barklow and Dexter Digdog. They are all happy happy happy and are loving the new human.

Keep an eye on the blog over the next week as we had another new addition or should I say additions. They came over from The Warren and are totally adorable. We want to take time blogging about them as Hotdog wants to give the limelight to them, he is totally in love with them. I have never seen him so bowled over!! Check out the bunny shop, but be warned, you might need sunglasses as there is a new, VERY colourful bunny over there at the moment!

Film Stars!!

Just a quick one today to welcome 2 new puppies to the chaos that is Hotdog and Me.

This is Mutt Damon. He has been with us for a couple of days now and is an absolute delight. I was expecting a bit of disruption due to his Casino loving past but he has been brilliant!

And finally this is Keira Bitely. Again she has been with us for a couple of days and has been fabulous darling. She does like preening herself abit and has spent quite a lot of time in front of the mirror perfecting her pout, but she has mucked in and has not been a prima donna. Although she is quite partial to the blue smarties and only the blue smarties!!

Hopefully over the next couple of days I will get some photos up of Hotdog's trip to Carteret in France. He had a fabulous time with the girls......I think they may have spoilt him....especially with waffles and nutella!

With Hotdog Away, Me Needs Help!!

To keep Mr Me in line!! With Me being 37 1/2 weeks pregnant and planning a home birth, Mr Me thought is was a brilliant time to rip the bathroom out!! What is that about eh??

Luckily, we had 3 new visitors today to help bring him in line.

Hopefully they can help to tell him to get his skates on!

So we have Lady Kitty Fitzwoofian-Smythe in the fluffy purple, David Bowwowie next to her and Daisy Doglittle with the gingham scarf.

They wanted to say goodbye and good luck to Kevin Wooferton aka WonderPup who will be leaving us tomorrow.

News from Bertie Bassethound

Bertie got to our warren in FL this afternoon. Sammykins, my Diva Bunny, greeted him and immediately pulled him into her basket to look around. I then brought him to see Rainbow SockBunny, who said "He came all the way from the UK? Brilliant!"

They are now resting together, reminiscing about their old friends and watching the sun set over the palm trees.

How wonderful to get a message in from one of Hotdog's pals. It's so lovely that he had a friend their already in Rainbow Bunny from The Warren.

Influx or What??

Well, today we have had a bit of an influx of visitors coming to stay until they can be re-homed.

This is them trying to re-create the Usual Suspects.

Please meet the Girls. Bubblegum Pawpaw, Pixie Spoodle and Fleur Yappersly.

And now for the Boys. Kevin Wooferton aka WonderPup, Spaniel Day-Lewis and Digger Waggins.

They have created so much excitement around the place that it's hard to think with all the noise. Hopefully in a few hours they will all have settled down and gone for a sleep. For now I think I will try to escape while they all run around the garden and bounce on the trampoline.

I think I may need some paracetamol before the day is out....or at least a dozen more cups of tea.
