Adventure Puppy

Hotdog's cousin, Vlad, is on an adventure!  He left London to go snowboarding in Canada.  Before he even got there he got snowed in at Gatwick...oh the irony!

Here's a little snippet of what he has been upto!

I think Hotdog is a little bit jealous.

Me Has a New Shop

So not content with having HerePrettyKitty and Hotdogandme on Folksy, Me has set about starting up another shop.  This time round it is to indulge her love (and it is an utter devotion) of kitsch and vintage beads and charms.  The new shop is called Betty's Place and it is kind of an homage to her wonderful nanny, Betty.

So without further ado here is a little taster of what you can find in Betty's Place.

When the Dog Meet the Bunny....

They wished.

It was Hotdogs great pleasure to meet the famous Widget yesterday. The Bunny Maker put out a request for a day out at Kitty Pinkstars Wishing Tree.  Hotdog read the request and then went running round the house like a mad thing until I agreed to take him.

So yesterday we packed up our things and made the journey over to Upton Country Park near Poole and met up with the Bunny Maker, her lovely son, Widget and The Bunny King.  We had a yummy cuppa, saw some Peacocks and then went for a bumpy walk to the Wishing Tree.

Hotdog was worrying that we would not be able to find it, how wrong he was!  It's very unmissable - or BRIGHT might be another way to put it.

The tree is beautiful, especially on a dull day, it's positively glows.  The wishes are fantastic to read and so many of them. So keep up the fantastic work Kitty. (psst click her name to go see her sock creations, they are cool)

This was one of my favourite wishes, Hotdog told me to stop being so soppy!

Hotdog left his wish, I said maybe it was a little bit on the greedy side but he was adamant, that was his wish.

WE LOVE YOUR WISHING TREE KITTY PINKSTAR

Jeremy

We had some family and friends over last night for our last Knit Club of 2009 (1st rule of Knit Club is you don't talk about Knit Club)! Needless to say not much knitting went on and lots of drinking happened.

I set my sister a challenge and gave her my box full of socks....create a sock creature I said and I gave her some books for inspiration.  Well she took up my challenge with great gusto, scissors and socks flying, and a while later Jeremy was born!!

Can you see him??

There he is!!

He's so diddy!

Anyway, it is with much pleasure that I wish you all a Very Very happy New Year.
Enjoy your last evening of 2009 everyone, woohoo........

Albert's in Holland

Hotdog and Me received a wonderful email from Albert Barkley today, he's has gone to live in Holland!!

He says -

Since a couple of weeks I'm living in Holland with Tessa.
I really like it here and I've made a couple of friends already:
Little Spotty and Maureen, two bunnies made of socks.
Just like me!
And Mister Jummy.
He looks a bit scary, but he is very friendly!

The otherday when I was sniffing around the house, I found some DVD's that I love!
Tessa has a lot of Poirot DVD's!

A couple of days ago, it began snowing in Schiedam.
So Tessa took me and the bunnies out and let us play in the snow.

I'm going to sniff out how the DVD player works!

Woof,

Albert

Where Have That Pesky Lot Gone?

I was just having a look in my very very messy workroom and discovered that Hotdog, Weeny Woo, Weeny Woo's baby and The Hooterninnie have all disappeared!

Where have THEY gone I thought!!  So off on a merry hunt I went.  I searched the whole house but to no avail.  Finally a lightbulb came on above my head.....I had turned the light on by mistake!! Finally I had a brainwave!  I remember hearing them whispering all last week about how they were fed up being stuck in the house all the time.  Weeny Woo, who has a really happy nature, was bored at being ignored, I heard her moan that I hadn't even introduced her on the blog.

Armed with this new thought I went in search outside.  Eureka!!  I found them, all crammed into the camper van.

They were off on an Adventure they said but didn't get past getting into the van.  They were in the middle of trying to figure out how to reach the steering wheel when I found them.  Weeny Woo had the brilliant idea of all climbing on top of each other to reach it but they hadn't banked on Hotdog's clumsyness!!

They all agreed to come back inside when I told them that before they went anywhere in the van it would need a blinkin good wash.  They all had a look out the window and agreed that it probably was not a good idea to take it out JUST yet.....especially when they noticed all the cobwebs!!

Weeny Woo and baby came all the way over here from Widget and Friends and The Hooterninnie came to us from Oddsox , so if you fancy some cuteness in your life, pop over to their shops.

Ssshhhh, lastly before you go, if you get a spare minute can you go over to Craftjuice and vote for Brian please?  I'm whispering cos Weeny Woo's bunny maker has a skull and crossbones over there as well and she's beating me :)

Pleasey Weasey Vote For Measey!

Hotdog has entered Brian into a Halloween Competition and he needs all the votes he can possibly muster.

If you have a spare few moments would any of you wonderful people be able to go over and give him some votes.  It will do wonders for his self esteem!!

When Dave went missing he really went into himself and even the arrival of Colin and Jefferey, the other SKELLY DOGS, didn't make him join in.  Dave2 came along and went onto his new owner and the original Dave miraculously appeared again (but never told where he had been or what wonders he had seen!) and even these fab events didn't make him happy.

Hotdog believes and I have to agree that getting these votes will show him that people do care about him and maybe he will start to join in again.  So please, vote for Brian and give him that much needed ego boost.  Hotdog and Me and ALL the puppies will be very very grateful.

The Wanderer Returns

Dave's Back!!!

At this moment in time he STILL isn't saying anything so your guess is as good as ours as to where Dave has been over the last 3 weeks!  However, he is safe & well, has had a good meal and is now settleing in with his new human.

To Custom or Not to Custom

I have had a couple of custom orders lately and found this to be quite an inspirational way of crafting.  Firstly it makes you think outside of your comfort zone and then once you have completed the finished project it ends up spawning a million new ideas.  What could be better than that?  Win win as far as I can see.

Here are some piccies of my custom orders, they were really fun to make.

We have Lucky Woofswell, Johnny Rottweiler and Vlad.

New Pups on The Block

Well we have a new addition to the family, this time it's a human and not a sock puppy, so we have been a little bit pre-occupied at Hotdog's pad!

However, we have had a few new puppies arrive too so Hotdog wanted to introduce them to the world.

From left to right we have Colin, Deirdre Barklow and Dexter Digdog. They are all happy happy happy and are loving the new human.

Keep an eye on the blog over the next week as we had another new addition or should I say additions. They came over from The Warren and are totally adorable. We want to take time blogging about them as Hotdog wants to give the limelight to them, he is totally in love with them. I have never seen him so bowled over!! Check out the bunny shop, but be warned, you might need sunglasses as there is a new, VERY colourful bunny over there at the moment!

Hotdog's Travels to Carteret, France

Last week Hotdog went away on holiday to Carteret in France with his Noonoo, Aunty N, Aunty G and SuZie. He told me he had a ton of fun with the girls.

He said the girls are wild, except for Noonoo and that he had a job to keep up with them, especially after they had had a few drinky poo's in the local bar.

He went on the fast ferry over, they all enjoyed going out on deck and posing for the camera. Especially SuZie......who enjoyed it a little bit too much!

So on their first day at the caravan they all got settled in and then had to pop to the local shop and buy some much needed food and even mucher needed vino.

They all spent quite a lot of time down at the local beach. It's quite a long walk from the caravan but the views are fantastic and as we can all see while we were enjoying grey sky's and lots of rain.....and even a tinsy winsy bit of hail, Hotdog and Co were enjoying full on sunshine.

On their first trip to the beach Hotdog was rather upset by the sign stating no dogs on the beach. He got a little bit sulky until someone recognised him as the world famous Hotdog from Hotdog and Me (pop over to his shop to give one of his lovely friends a much needed loving home)and said that he could spend as much time on their beach as he liked......(and anyway, he's a stuffed dog and doesn't poo...sshhhh)

So he managed to get a bit of sun bathing in and also even squeezed in a bit of surfing, after all he has a dude image to live up to.

Hotdog's favourite bit of the holiday though was his serenade from SuZie, although he did whisper to me that he thought she was ever so slightly Dorky!

So beaucoup fun was had by all until the last night when they went out for dinner........Hotdog didn't sleep a wink THAT night!!!

QUELLE HORREUR!!!!
