When the Dog Meet the Bunny....

They wished.

It was Hotdogs great pleasure to meet the famous Widget yesterday. The Bunny Maker put out a request for a day out at Kitty Pinkstars Wishing Tree.  Hotdog read the request and then went running round the house like a mad thing until I agreed to take him.

So yesterday we packed up our things and made the journey over to Upton Country Park near Poole and met up with the Bunny Maker, her lovely son, Widget and The Bunny King.  We had a yummy cuppa, saw some Peacocks and then went for a bumpy walk to the Wishing Tree.

Hotdog was worrying that we would not be able to find it, how wrong he was!  It's very unmissable - or BRIGHT might be another way to put it.

The tree is beautiful, especially on a dull day, it's positively glows.  The wishes are fantastic to read and so many of them. So keep up the fantastic work Kitty. (psst click her name to go see her sock creations, they are cool)

This was one of my favourite wishes, Hotdog told me to stop being so soppy!

Hotdog left his wish, I said maybe it was a little bit on the greedy side but he was adamant, that was his wish.

WE LOVE YOUR WISHING TREE KITTY PINKSTAR

New Pups on The Block

Well we have a new addition to the family, this time it's a human and not a sock puppy, so we have been a little bit pre-occupied at Hotdog's pad!

However, we have had a few new puppies arrive too so Hotdog wanted to introduce them to the world.

From left to right we have Colin, Deirdre Barklow and Dexter Digdog. They are all happy happy happy and are loving the new human.

Keep an eye on the blog over the next week as we had another new addition or should I say additions. They came over from The Warren and are totally adorable. We want to take time blogging about them as Hotdog wants to give the limelight to them, he is totally in love with them. I have never seen him so bowled over!! Check out the bunny shop, but be warned, you might need sunglasses as there is a new, VERY colourful bunny over there at the moment!

News from Bertie Bassethound

Bertie got to our warren in FL this afternoon. Sammykins, my Diva Bunny, greeted him and immediately pulled him into her basket to look around. I then brought him to see Rainbow SockBunny, who said "He came all the way from the UK? Brilliant!"

They are now resting together, reminiscing about their old friends and watching the sun set over the palm trees.

How wonderful to get a message in from one of Hotdog's pals. It's so lovely that he had a friend their already in Rainbow Bunny from The Warren.

Phew, Hotdog is Back!!

Hotdog has been back a couple of days but is still trying to unpack his suitcase, however he has decided he has time to squeeze in a blog about his exploits.

The day before we all flew to Switzerland we went to Legoland where Hotdog thoroughly enjoyed posing in front of the mini buildings......well he is a bit of a show off!! Even though it was not the school holidays the place was really busy and the queues were quite long.

The next day Hotdog and family jetted off to Geneva Airport. We went to stay with family in a valley just below Verbier.

This is Hotdog posing on the Balcony.

These beautiful pictures were taken at the top of Mont Fort.

The Plane journey home, the lolly is to stop Hotdog's ears popping!

Whilst we were in Switzerland we were lucky to see the tour de France end one of it's stages on the road to Verbier. Wow, we were all in awe at how fast they can cycle!! It took them roughly 20 mins to get from the bottom to the top.....that's the same as a car. The Me of Hotdog and Me wants to post one last picture, yummy cyclists.

Look at those yummy legs!! (That's the Me saying that)
The rider on the left with the black and yellow helmet is Lance Armstrong.

And last but not least we would like to say a big thank you to Anna from The Warren for re-homing Jeremy Beagle. If you are a funny bunny pop over to her shop, it's well worth a visit.
